Fresh Reedsport Fishing Reports

We will be ending our ocean Salmon, Sept 30th. Ocean crabbing ends Oct 15. We will be focusing on the river salmon Oct 1st

The salmon bite is on, and the fish continue to grt bigger. Sept 1st starts Non select in the ocean until quota is met, exspected by mid Sept. So Now is the time to book! Dont want to get up early? We have sevral afternoon trips available.

Halibut, Rockfish, Salmon, Lingcod, crabbing

Fishing Report Winchester Bay Oregon. Lingcod and Rockfish bite has been hot, as ocean conditions allow us to get out. Crabbing is starting to pick up in the ocean and will continue to get better. We are looking forward to our halibut opener May 1st limited to two per angler. Striper fishing has been good in the estuaries, and will get better as they move down into the main stream Umpqua. Pink fin perch fishing is drawing near in the bay as Mother’s day approaches. There have been a few Springers caught in the Reedsport area, with fish being targeted up river. Shad fishing is coming up quick in the main stream Umpqua. Now is the time to get your seats booked for halibut, pink fin perch, striper, small mouth bass, lingcod, rockfish, shad, and fall salmon. Please remember to wear your PFD’s and ensure they are in good working order. Have a happy and safe Easter Weekend.

Bottom fishing continues to be excellent, along with the new 15 fish limit for our long leader fisheries. Were also looking forward to our summer and fall salmon season to go into full swing.

Great news they are giving us 15 rockfish per person limit on our long leader fishery’s!
